Major Medical, Dental, & Vision

Gentech pays up to 80% of the premiums and combines three premier plans to provide you with a simple, yet extensive Medical Benefit plan. This plan includes one of Highmark's premier plans, PPOBlue, which takes away the hassle of getting referrals, and in most cases covers 100% of the bills associated with Physician office visits and prescription drugs. In addition, the dental plan, MetLife Dental, and vision plan, Fashion Advantage, are two of the best in their class.

Life Insurance

Gentech pays 100% of premiums for life insurance through MetLife which includes $50,000 of Life and AD&D

Aflac

Gentech, through Aflac, offers supplemental voluntary benefits to all employees.

Simple IRA

Gentech provides employees with the opportunity to contribute pre-tax dollars toward retirement, with yearly matching contributions made by Gentech.

Vacation

Gentech employees begin to accrue two weeks of vacation per year immediately at the rate of 6.67 hours per month. After three years, employees accrue three weeks of vacation per year at a rate of ten hours per month.

Holidays

Gentech employees will be entitled to the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and other holidays observed by the client.

Sick Time

Gentech employees begin to accrue sick time at the rate of one half day per month for a total of six paid sick days annually.

Bereavement

Gentech employees will receive up to three paid days for immediate family members.

Paydays

Gentech employees are paid every other week – 26 times per year – and for convenience, Direct Deposit is available.

Referral Fees

Gentech rewards employees who refer potential employees and business opportunities.
